Festive and family-friendly weekend

This summer, experience a truly unique weekend at the foot of the Lion’s Mound!

For the very first time, a spectacular zip line will launch from the top of the Lion’s Mound, offering a unique experience and unforgettable thrills above the Battlefield.

Over two days, the Waterloo Battlefield Estate will offer a range of activities for the whole family, set in an exceptional historical setting.

On the programme:

• bouncy castle and various games
• giant zip line (a first!)
• climbing wall
• historical activities with the 1815 reenactors
• rifle and cannon firing demonstrations

All activities are included in the admission ticket. To allow families to make the most of the event, entry is free for children under 10.

The big Mister Cover concert

The highlight of the festivities will take place on the evening of 15 August, with a major concert by the band Mister Cover.

After setting iconic venues such as Ancienne Belgique and Forest National alight, Mister Cover returns for a unique and exceptional concert at the foot of the Lion’s Mound.

A true reference in Belgium’s live cover scene, Mister Cover brings the greatest international hits back to life with talent and energy, from rock to pop, including the must-have classics of recent decades. Their strength lies in their explosive stage presence, natural connection with the audience, and rare ability to get every generation singing along.

A key name on Belgian stages, Mister Cover is renowned for its energetic renditions of the biggest international hits. With an electrifying atmosphere, passionate musicians, and constant interaction with the audience, the band promises a festive and unifying evening.
