The Waterloo Battlefield Estate is open every day of the year.

Memorial Museum

September & October
Daily: 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
November to March
Daily: 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
April to June
Daily: 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
July & August
Daily: 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Exceptional Opening Hours

December 24 & December 31 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Hougoumont Farm

September & October
Daily: 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
November to March
Daily: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
weekdays: outdoor areas only

Individual Ticket Prices


The individual ticket gives access to all visitor areas of the Waterloo Battlefield Estate:

  • Memorial 1815
  • The Panorama
  • The Lion’s Mound
  • Hougoumont Farm

It also includes seasonal activities* and the 1815 Shuttle* during the season (from April to the end of October during school holidays, public holidays, and weekends).

Access to the Domain

The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo is easily accessible, whether you arrive by car or by public transport.


By Car

The site is easily accessible by car. Two large free parking areas are available close to the estate. Parking spaces for persons with reduced mobility (PRM) are also provided.


By Train

From Braine-l’Alleud railway station, you can reach the estate by bus.


By Bus

From Waterloo or Braine-l’Alleud station: Line W.
