The Panorama
History
The Panorama, a building constructed in 1912, immerses visitors in the heart of the battle through a monumental and immersive artwork. This vast circular painting offers a spectacular reconstruction of the battlefield and helps visitors understand the intensity of the fighting on June 18, 1815.

Key figures
Measuring 110 metres long and 12 metres high, the Panorama completely surrounds visitors and creates a striking perspective effect, giving the impression of being in the middle of the action. It is one of the last complete panoramas still accessible to the public.
